Cindy Greb

Cindy Greb is the Director of Economic Development for St. Mary’s County Government in Maryland, bringing more than four decades of leadership in community and economic development, environmental land planning, and large-scale real estate development. Throughout her career, she has helped advance thousands of residential units and significant commercial, office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use development across Southern Maryland, creating jobs, attracting investment, strengthening infrastructure, and expanding the tax base.

Today, Cindy leads efforts to grow St. Mary’s County’s aerospace, defense, technology, manufacturing, and tourism economy while addressing workforce and housing needs. She works closely with federal, state, regional, and private-sector partners to strengthen the innovation ecosystem supporting NAS Patuxent River, Webster Outlying Field, and Maryland’s defense industry.

Cindy is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland, holds a Master of Science in Strategic Communication from the University of Maryland, and completed advanced studies at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
