Thomas P. Saul

Thomas P. Saul is an accomplished healthcare executive with 20 years of leadership experience in academic medical centers and community hospital settings. He currently serves as Vice President of Operations at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, where he provides executive leadership across a broad range of clinical, operational, and support services and helps advance strategic initiatives focused on organizational performance, quality, patient safety, and the patient experience.

Previously, Mr. Saul has held leadership positions with the University of Vermont Health Network and the University of Virginia Medical Center. His experience encompasses hospital and medical group operations, strategic planning, financial management, business development, facilities planning, clinical service expansion, and organizational transformation.

Mr. Saul is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and holds a Master of Health Administration in Health Management and Policy from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Henderson State University.

In addition to his professional leadership, Mr. Saul has a strong commitment to community and civic engagement. He has served on the University of Iowa Health Management and Policy Alumni Board as well as volunteered as a youth soccer coach.
